Together with partners from Hanze University of Applied Sciences in The Netherlands; South East Technological University, in Waterford, Ireland; Hochschule Bremen, in Germany, and Instituto Politecnico de Braganca, in Portugal we research digital literacy in higher educational institutions. I also teach and coordinate the course Leadership in Digital Transformation in the MSc Digital Technologies at Hanze UAS.
My general academic interest are: digital literacy and inclusion, digital innovation and transformation, leadership, and innovative pedagogies.

My general academic interest: I am working on to improve teaching through digital technologies with a focus on technical laboratories. I am also in the process of completing my MSc in Computer Science at the University of Bremen with a thesis on music and computational linguistics.

My general academic interest: I have a keen interest in conducting research on the effectiveness of teaching and learning in virtual immersive environments with a focus on pedagogy and learner perceptions. I coordinated the construction of the Delft University of Technology Minecraft campus which sought to connect geographically distanced students and harness the pedagogical affordances of this environment. More recently I have been looking into ways of integrating Gather.Town, a virtual 3D conferencing tool which allows users to interact with each other and the environment, into accredited courses at WIT.
